The flu vaccine will be offered at John Marshall through the School-Located Influenza Program on October 3. This program makes it easy and convenient to keep your child, the school, and the community healthy throughout the year. The flu shot and nasal spray (FluMist®) will both be available this year. Important information to know: Registration is required to receive the flu vaccine. Registration begins on August 9 and will end on September 13. Online registration is preferred, but paper forms will be available at your child's school. Registration forms will not be accepted after September 13. To register online, go to semnic.org. Non-medication pain-reducing options will be available. Health insurance will be billed. If you don't have health insurance, your child can still get the flu vaccine at little or no cost. Provide a reminder to your child the day before receiving the flu vaccine and have them wear clothing that allows access to the upper arm. For more information about the School-Located Immunization Program, go to semnic.org.

Are you digging through closets preparing for back to school? If so, we'd LOVE to have your gently used JM spirit wear, backpacks, jogger pants/leggings, athletic shorts, hoodies and football/soccer shoes. Please bring all clean items to the Main Entrance at JM during school hours or with your student. Due to limited space, please only bring items listed above and if in very good condition & teen styles. Yellow collection bins are at the Main Entrance. These items will help supply our Rocket Community Room. THANK YOU!

The Rocket Community Room is a space in John Marshall that is open to all students. It is a space that supports students & families with basic need items, such as shelf-stable food, hygiene, school supplies and clothing. This space is completely funded through donations and we need your help restocking our shelves for the 2023-2024 school year.
