I am overjoyed to be the Principal of Riverside Elementary School!

This is my 23rd year working for the Rochester Public Schools and my second year in this role. Before becoming Principal, I served as an Assistant Principal of Riverside for four years. Before joining the Otter Family, I worked as a teacher and administrator at the middle school level.

I am a fierce advocate for children and families and am passionate about creating an enriching educational environment. I could not be more delighted to continue my journey in education, focusing on fostering academic and personal growth among Riverside's students and staff.

Welcome to Riverside! I’m the assistant principal and am an advocate for students, families, and all things education. While working for Rochester Public Schools over the past 15 years, I have had the opportunity and privilege of spending time in the areas of family engagement, students in transition, teaching, and more. My two children attended the schools of Ben Franklin, Willow Creek, and Mayo High School, and their experiences helped shape my inspirations as an educator. In addition to being an inspiration, my children taught me to have fun, so if there’s chaos or silliness happening in the building, I’m probably making it worse in the best possible way. 

At Riverside, we work to create a culture of learning and joy. Our Otter motto emphasizes excellent academic achievement, total belonging and kindness toward others, and inclusion of family in the development of student learning and growth.
